The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for a Partner Sales Leader that will work with our partners to rapidly build relationships with large organizations, develop a transformative Professional Services strategy, and execute that strategy within those accounts. As Partner Sales Leader you help us shape the APJ Professional Services partner strategy, build scalable partner relationships, and put them to work as the trusted advisor to our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of Business and Digital transformation consulting, program & relationship development, contract structuring, and delivery oversight. Our Partner Sales Leader works programmatically with our customers, our account leaders, and our executive teams within AWS, in order to scale through partners the value we can deliver across markets and industries. AWS Professional Services have the capacity to collaborate across the entire AWS and Amazon organization, bring access to product and service teams, get solutions delivered, and drive feature innovation based upon our customer’s needs. AWS have a rich partner ecosystem that includes Global, National and Local System Integrators, Specialized partners with deep domain expertise like CX, Analytics, or IOT, Born-in-the-cloud partners that are focused on cloud consulting, Independent Software Vendors, as well as Influencers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
· Growing our Professional Services business across Asia Pacific & Japan by building scalable partnerships that directly impact our customer’s ability to innovate and transform
· Engaging in our largest and most transformative deals, and put those partnerships to work for our customers
· Navigating the diverse markets of APJ by building partner relationships that matter locally and yet scale
· Building strategies and value propositions that accelerate business outcomes for customers and partners alike
· Building sustainable commercial partnerships, and manage the supporting contractual relationships with customers and partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred
· 15+ years of consulting experience with demonstrated Business, Digital, and IT Transformation experience in customer-facing roles
· Experience working with matrix organizations as the Consulting Services lead and delivering against sales quota
· A proven track record of positioning, negotiating and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Extensive IT consulting experience directly leading complex, transformational engagements with customers in Asia Pacific & Japan
· Extensive experience in identifying, developing and growing partnerships on the back of complex consulting deals
· Deep understanding of all aspects of partnering across sales, commercial constructs, and delivery
· Experience in public cloud computing or with a major enterprise software or infrastructure provider
· Demonstrated industry leadership in the areas of lean enterprise, digital innovation, digital strategy and/or product development
· Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets
· Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
