As a member of Amazon's Employee Services team, the Sr. Administrator will provide ongoing and high quality services to Amazon employees in APAC countries, be a central point for issue resolution through an electronic remedy process & manage the day-to-day administration for Mandatory Document compliance and other employee services.
The ideal person will be organized, work effectively with internal and external contacts, have the ability to process large volumes of transactions, understand complex policies and apply them to employee situations. The successful candidate will have good communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Person must also possess good analytical and critical thinking skills, along with the customer service focus that the world associates with and expects from Amazon.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for NHO materials, scheduling, Logistics and facilitation in 7 APAC countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand).
· Provide ongoing support to local HR teams and Employee Services colleagues by improving the overall process, self-service training tools, and monitoring necessary policy and process updates
· Manage escalations from stakeholders and/or other parts of the Employee Services function to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely fashion
· Deliver regional and local reports as required both quantitative and qualitative (e.g. Compliance reports) on a pre-determined schedule
· Respond to system access requests, questions, and troubleshoot program issues on behalf of employees, managers and HR
· Identify areas for improvement and take ownership of implementing changes
· Assist with new compliance projects as needs arise
· Assist with other HR transactional work as needs arise
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 1-3 years of Human Resources experience
· MS Office experience and ability to independently use MS Excel formulas for reporting
· Fluent in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Customer service orientation with ability to serve multiple customers (recruiters, multiple levels of HR business partners and vendors)
· Audit/Compliance experience - Experience in multi-location virtual HR support
· Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
· Proven analytical capabilities, comfortable working with large amounts of data and in developing metrics and reporting
