Role and Responsibilities
Create and lead improvement projects and data analysis
Assist in the management and control of daily logistics activities to meet overall company business objectives
Perform inventory reconciliation on stock discrepancy; manage inventory accuracy via planned bi annual wall to wall, daily cycle count, inventory management, analysis and related reports
Ensure and audit process adherence to HQ logistics directive
Co-ordinate with other department and customer to solve issue and perform special occasion
Claim management
Management of 3PLs which includes building/maintaining relationship and overall review of their service performance. This also includes collaboration with 3PL in the implementation of new processes and HQ directive
Skills and Qualifications
At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in logistics/warehouse operation in supervisory role in the project team
At least 3 - 5 years of leading implementation projects or cost saving projects
Familiar with procedures for overall contract logistics operation and activities
Ability to create commitment and give directions as well as set and follow up clear objectives
Proficient in Microsoft Office, PPT, Excel, Outlook and SAP
Good command of both written and spoken English
Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Communicates with internal and external parties to set preplan and share/training team members. Also need to communicate with customer for building relationship
