Job Description

Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group. We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.

About the Role

This is a newly crafted role for a Senior/ HR Specialist who will be part of the TPC HR team, reporting to the Director, Head of HR. You will act as the HR Generalist to provide full range of human resources function to TPC as well as to facilitate talent management for 8 business units in the Asia and Nordic regions. You will be key in driving the organization-wide programs with the aim to develop and manage our talent pool and support the Management team to evaluate the effectiveness of our talent strategies towards the development of overall business goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Talent Management :

Support in developing and implementing talent road map and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy not limited to Performance Management, Learning and Development, Talent Retention

Design, develop and oversee the talent management processes to ensure integration across the business units

Collaborate and support in areas of talent assessments to fill key skill gaps and support in evaluating and identifying employee readiness, talent gaps, and retention risks.

Facilitate competency-based programs to develop skill-based training and enhance career development and opportunities through job exposure/rotations programs etc.

Maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and professionalism

HR Generalist :

Responsible for full spectrum of HR and drive day-to-day HR processes and operations across the organization

Provide support for on/off-boarding, other employee lifecycle and day-to-day human resources operations

Facilitate annual salary review, administer payroll and tax matters with external payroll vendor;

Support in review and renewal of annual group employee insurance and administer employee group insurance matters;

Support implementation and changes in HR policies & procedures;

Prepare an update regular HR reports, organization charts and analytics

Support Global Mobility management services;

Participate in employee engagement initiatives

Perform end to end recruitment including posting job ad, sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates, offering to on-boarding and probation monitoring;

Perform purchase requisition, goods receivable note and supplier creation for HR related payments;

Maintain and administer staff welfare and benefits;

Participate in ad-hoc tasks and perform other HR related activities or projects as assigned.

Job Specification

Education and Experience

Degree in Business or Human Resources, with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in fast-paced set up

Knowledge of core Talent Management programs/processes, including performance management, promotions, succession planning, and talent development.

Meticulous, resourceful and self-driven with good communication, interpersonal and organization skills;

Good knowledge of the Employment Act and other manpower-related legislations, current and emerging HR trends and practices.

Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
