About the Role
Your primary responsibility as the Data Architect is to advise clients with respect to developing and/or optimising their conceptual and logical data systems. To succeed in this role, you should know how to examine new data system requirements, deploy and configure data ingestion, storage, integration and analytical components and implement data and model migration.
Coordinate with clients, data users and key stakeholders and develop, implement various long term data architecture objectives
Design and implement short term solutions to achieve all goals and prepare data roadmap for management
Document as-is and define design principles, standards, guidelines and roadmap toward target data architecture
Establish and improve governance process to ensure that the optimal structure and compliance activities are in place and exercised
Evaluate technology trends and solutions to assess potential impacts on the existing and evolving enterprise architecture
Communicate and evangelise the enterprise architecture, principles, standards and guidelines to relevant stakeholders
Strong communication, presentation, project management and time management skills
Job Specification
About you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related function with at least 8 years of experiences mandatory
Significant experience working as an Information or Data Architect within a multi-national organisation or leading management consultancy
Demonstrable experience in defining data architecture, policies and processes, along with design and implementation governance and control processes
Solid experience of defining and gaining agreement for data architecture and architecting major transformations to deliver primary business capabilities, including Big Data, Data Lake, Predictive Analytics, MDM, operational systems, business information and analytical systems
An in depth understanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and experienced in integrating into traditional hosting/delivery models
