Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in Media & Entertainment together with technology ISV and consulting partners. Customers across the industry are using digital technologies such as cloud, analytics and AI/ML from AWS and partners to transform and modernize their content production, media supply chain and distribution.

AWS is looking for a world class candidate (m/f) who understands business trends affecting the industry, to build business in APAC with leading technology ISV and consulting companies in Media & Entertainment. Your job will be to work with these strategic partners to address customer needs and to grow AWS business.

You will be responsible for defining and leading the regional partner strategy and plan, and leading engagement with top technology and consulting companies in the industry. You will collaborate with partners to bring innovative solutions to customers, to help them engage with and nurture their clients, differentiate their offerings, and grow their business.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You will be working closely with teams across AWS including product management, partner development managers, solution architects, professional services, and our sales teams. You will be the face to the industry in APAC of the AWS partner team and solutions, building and maintaining engagement with executives at top partners including engaging with AWS senior leadership, and representing AWS in media coverage and industry events.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished leader with a strong background in technology in the industry, experienced at building a partner ecosystem with solutions or innovation programs, and with the presence to engage with decision makers at the executive level. You will have strong business development, product management, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills. You can demonstrate an ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and show prior solution and program successes.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of Media & Entertainment companies and specific workloads including: content Creation, broadcast, media supply chain, distribution, and digital publishing. Strong public speaking and writing skills are required.

AWS customers are developing some of the most exciting and innovative new businesses and the AWS Partner Network (APN) ecosystem is helping to dramatically accelerate innovation on the AWS Cloud.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and lead the partner strategy and execution plan to grow the AWS-based M&E community in APAC
· Collaborate with AWS teams and with partners to bring solutions to market to meet customer needs, with measurable ROI results
· Prioritize AWS engagement with partners who focus on the industry including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV technology vendors
· Build C-level relationships with our top partners
· Work with cross-functional groups in AWS to deliver programs that will scale the partner business in the industry

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 10+ years of experience developing technology solutions, partnerships or technology alliances in content creation, broadcast, media supply chain, distribution or digital publishing
· Expertise in software including Software as a Service or other cloud-based technologies
· Familiarity with leading ISV technology and consulting partners in the industry
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of AWS services, technologies and partners preferred
· Deep understanding of the vendor landscape and technology applications and processes across Media & Entertainment
· Direct hands-on experience deploying technology solutions to Media & Entertainment customers
· Track record of success building a partner ecosystem with scalable enablement and go to market programs for partners
· Business or technical leadership experience within the industry, at a media company or technology supplier
