This role is responsible for working closely with new business operations, practices, integrated services and sectors to implement and deploy Edelman’s Unlocking Growth initiative, supporting various business functions in the collation, management and development of content. S/he will report directly to the New Business Operations Director and liaise with an extended network of contacts globally.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, demonstrate excellent writing and verbal communication skills, be a strategic thinker, excel at project management, thrive in an independent work environment, show attention to detail and be able to navigate multiple projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously.Responsibilities:- Build strong internal relationships across the network
- Drive best practice sharing across the Global Practice/Sector
- Serve as a resource to local/regional teams
- Develop and lead Practice/Sector efforts to create a knowledge hub, promote use of the platform and maintain all related pages and materials
- Be knowledgeable of resources/expertise in other offices and business units in order to facilitate connections that will improve quality and/or efficiency
- Promote cross-office/region/practice/sector collaboration
- Support / manage new business opportunities, serve as a foreperson of pitch efforts
- Maintain a personal working knowledge of global trends related to communications marketing and the particular focus of the Practice/Sector
- Work with discipline leads to package services based on client and market needs
- Use internal/external resources to address knowledge gaps for self and team
- Support development of critical pitch materials including creds, standardized models, methodologies, insights and case studies
- Proactively elevate learnings/trends to market leadership and APAC teams
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Exceptional secondary and analytical research skills
- Strong process and project management skills
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to design and tailor presentations to multiple audiences including clients, senior leadership, and Edelman practices/sectors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others’ work
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite especially PPT
- High level of autonomy, self-motivation and integrity
