We are looking for a highly talented hunter’ sales professional to join our team in Singapore as a Partner Development Manager. Within the APAC based sales team you will own and lead the sourcing of leads, building relationships and the converting opportunities within APAC.nbsp;
What will you be doing:nbsp;
New business sales at PPRO has been extremely fast paced over the past 4 years with over ~40 new PSP contracts being signed globally on an annual basis. The APAC team in particular has seen a sharp increase in activity due to the maturing of the eCommerce and Local Payment Method market. We are looking for a motivated and skilled sales person to join our maturing sales team in order to help capture the market and convert PSP opportunities.nbsp;
- You will be the voice of our new Partners in APAC. As the APAC new business ‘business owner’ and you will have a large responsibility in identifying regional opportunities for growth, championing the regional demands from our potential Partners and working with internal teams to deliver on key regional dependencies.- You will have an immediate impact on the growing partner development team as we have an active pipeline that you will help convert.nbsp;- Aside from an active pipeline that you will partially inherit we have also identified over 30 new targets within the region that hold strategic importance for PPRO.nbsp;- The partner development team challenges our partners and provides consulting for PsPs, payment platforms, marketplaces and with merchants, so a wide rage of payment skills and knowledge is vital for success in this role.- We need skills that arenbsp; valuable across the entire payment and sales value chain and not necessarily solely focussed on LPM and indirect sales, although this is prefered and will be a key focus point for candidates.nbsp;nbsp;
You’ll need to have:
- A laser focus on revenue and the ability to not only drive results through traditional and existing services, but to have the vision and understanding of the needs of the Partner to provide leadership to the teams as PPRO creates new ways of adding value within the region.- Public speaking and communication skills (I.e being able to communicate clearly to both technical personnel and C-Suite from both PPRO and client side)nbsp;- Knowledge of the FinTech payments space - A broad view of how and where PPRO fits within the payments ecosystem and how that is strategically important to PPRO’s future positioning- Organisational skills - The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with different levels of maturity.nbsp;- High spoken and written proficiency levels in both English and Mandarinnbsp;due to the international nature of our business and the requirement to liaise with our clients and potential partners in North Asia.
