Amazon Payments is seeking an experienced marketing manager to manage consumer payments marketing across APAC, based in Singapore. This role will involve developing marketing activity to drive strategic objectives for new and existing Amazon payment products, including go-to-market campaign planning & execution, value proposition development, new customer acquisition, usage and engagement of Amazon payment products and methods.
The candidate will communicate directly to Amazon’s customers in the region on the various payment products and services that we offer. She/He will also be responsible for defining and measuring campaign efficacy and will work with product managers, Business Analysts, data engineers and engineering teams in creating measurement frameworks for the campaigns and products. Amazon payments have a proven track record of contributing significantly to the growth and success of Amazon, we expect payments to be a leading channel for new customer acquisition. The marketing manager will define the marketing strategy and work with Product Management, Retail Marketing, Business Development, Design, Business Intelligence and Finance colleagues to execute on comprehensive digital and offline marketing plans for range of products and payment methods that we will offer across the APAC region.
We are seeking a customer-obsessed individual who is passionate about payments and its intersection with commerce, focusing on how to remove friction and add value for Amazon customers through strategic digital and offline marketing activities.
· Business Strategy: Define the digital and offline marketing strategy for payment products and services that drives new customer acquisition and increases engagement with existing customers.
· Planning and Analysis: Drive business planning activities across the payments and retails teams, and use customer/market insights, 3rd party research and benchmarking data to inform decision making.
· Marketing Operations: Execute digital and offline campaigns and merchandising plans for payments products and 3rd party promotions.
8-10 years in product marketing, digital marketing, marketing program management or related function · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong analytical skills and ability to independently seek out the relevant tools to achieve results · Demonstrable ability to engage, influence and align individuals of varying levels of seniority and tenure, externally and internally · Comfortable working with both local and globally dispersed colleagues · Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and using sound judgement in critical business-decision making- Bachelor’s degree.
MBA preferred · Prior experience in Financial Services and Consumer Payments marketing - Multilingual; Mandarin, Cantonese - Fun, engaging, innovative and team-oriented personality
