Job Purpose
The Central Technical Team sets the standards and procedures for technical operations across the Group for all lines of business and advises on key issues and tracks compliance to the standards. This role can be based in the Pacific or Asia region working remotely and with travel.
- The key objective of this regional role is to support the local teams in understanding and complying with the RI procedures and local legislation, and to advise the leaders of the business of any potential risks or areas non-compliance
- The CTM will play an active role in championing the best technical and operational practices across the Group and in developing the standards and procedures to suit the local conditions and regulations, resulting in more appropriate procedures and improved compliance
Day to day Responsibilities Include:
Providing guidance and support to the operational teams across all Rentokil Initial Group categories, including:
- Supporting all countries in understanding and becoming compliant with Rentokil Initial operational policy (Pink Notes), Fumigation, Controlled Atmosphere Treatment and Heat Treatment standards
- Supporting the development of National Standard Operating Procedures, Site Risk
Assessments and Method Statements to ensure compliance with local regulation and RI requirements
- On-site audits and desk-top reviews to support regional and country teams in their
compliance with RI policy
- Validation of the competence of businesses wishing to commence or extend their operation to new services, products or fields of application
- Maintaining Global Authorised Fumigation and Heat Registers
- Mergers and Acquisitions support including Technical Due Diligence and compliance oversight of new acquisitions
- Support for Group and Technical Leadership Team initiatives such as data harmonisation, critical limits and Authorised Product List integration
- Support local teams in developing best practice and extend local capability in key service areas such as disinfection, termites, birds etc.
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Extensive operational pest management experience at senior management level in a service business
- Demonstrable operational experience in fumigation and/or heat treatments
- Established experience of working across borders amp; service cultures of different countries
- Substantial strong communication and influencing skills with a track record of dealing with multiple stakeholders across the world that demonstrates a robust but approachable communication styl
