Finance Executive (1-Year Contract)

ViSenze is one of the fastest growing A.I. start-ups and an acknowledged leader in the development of Vision based AI solutions and products globally. To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a Finance Executive to support our growing finance operations.

The position reports to the Business and Financial Controller and will work in close conjunction with the Finance Team to (add main objectives and deliverables) ensure the smooth operations of the monthly, quarterly, as well as annual financial closing process. On a daily basis, the incumbent will spend his/her time performing AP and AR responsibilities, as well as other ad-hoc requirements whenever necessary.

Responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers timely based on contractual terms
• Follow up on long outstanding dues from customers and attend to customer queries
• Input supplier invoices into our accounting system (Netsuite) as and when received
• Schedule, process and prepare payments based on Company's payment cycles which include uploading of payments into respective online bank portals and obtaining the necessary approvals
• Support month-end closing by performing bank and credit card reconciliations, passing of manual journal entries, maintaining of balance sheet schedules and other duties as assigned
• Support ad-hoc finance duties such as GST reporting and annual financial audits
• Support Finance administration (e.g. filing, courier of documents)
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure payment reconciliations and settlements are done on a timely basis
• Other duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in accounting
• Competent in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Meticulous, organised, willing to learn, self-starter with a good attitude
• Knowledge in Netsuite is an added advantage but not mandatory
• Relevant hands-on experience is advantageous
