IT Engagement Communications Manager

Job Description
Our client is a leading global consumer technology player looking for an Engagement amp; Communications Manager to be part of their APAC IT Team. In alignment with IT Governance, you are responsible for making IT information, services and solutions visible, understandable and tangible for employees, end-users and IT stakeholders in a consistent, engaging and differentiated way.
It is our ambition to develop and support the delivery of a strategic IT story that paints a compelling picture of the future and the role of employees in that future, and builds confidence in the IT organization. Areas of focus are stakeholder engagement and adoption, leadership engagement, operational and user adoption communications at both global and regional level.
You are responsible for:
- Consulting and advising Program/Project Managers in translating communication objectives into a communication plan, specifying required deliverables, measurement and ensuring alignment to the overall IT plan.
- Formulating and guarding the image of IT.
- Maintaining and using the network of communications entities within company to create possibilities to communicate with all IT stakeholders.
- Supporting the selection of required preferred agents and suppliers, and is responsible for an optimal briefing and instruction.
- Organizing crisis communications messaging and execution.
- Ensuring the maximal use of multimedia and communication channels and monitoring the effectiveness of these tools on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of internal/ user adoption communications and digital communication tools.
- Solid understanding of project management principles.
- Experience in change management/ large-scale transformation projects
- Experience in developing plans for events, promotions and projects.
- Experience working in a global and cross functional team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing skills, copywriting experience preferred.
- Proficient command of English.
