BandLab is continuing to expand Ramp;D team and is looking for a Backend Engineer who will work on building PoC and MVP applications providing the engagement support for the music world
As a member of the international development team, you will contribute to design, development, testing, and operational maintenance of the software components owned by the team. We adhere to the DevOps culture. You will own services that solve sophisticated problems related to Highload, Big Data processing, Model Learning, and Artificial Intelligence using modern Cloud-Native solutions. You will also be exposed to many challenges in designing highly scalable and available distributed data processing systems. Our continuous integration and deployment pipeline technology allow you to focus on things that matter.
In collaboration with other engineers, you will ultimately deliver complex solutions for BandLab to millions of users all around the world.
Responsibilities
- Development and support of highly-scalable services on Golang
- Development and support of the data processing solutions working with Big Data
- Ownership of overall services, data processing solutions, as well as the observation of availability, scalability, operability and assuring top-notch SLA
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the B2C software development
- The readiness of the software development using Golang
- Demonstrated experience and deep understanding DBMS: relational, key-value and distributed storages
- Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment and the command line
- Experience writing functional, unit and integration tests
Desired
- Good understanding of TCP/IP stack and HTTP protocol in particular
- Good understanding of the microservice architecture: its advantages, disadvantages, and associated challenges
- Understanding of testing and code verification process; ability to create and manage test plans
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools and services
