Account Payable Lead

• Review supplier invoices/claim forms and cheque/giro payments
• Review reconciliation between suppliers’ statement of accounts and accounting records
• Prepare submission of giro payment
• Responsible for ensuring that transactions are entered into accounting system correctly and timely
• Plan and monitor payment of supplier invoices and ensure up-to-date payments
• Involve in liaising with Operation and resolve discrepancy on supplier invoices
• Review monthly intercompany and creditor reconciliations
• Prepare daily cashbook
• Prepare and monitor for cash management and forecast
• Prepare monthly audit schedules
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly General ledger
• Prepare quarterly GST report
• Prepare, apply and monitor for company vehicle season parking
• Responsible for ensuring monthly closing complete and close on time for AP team
• Review existing AP processes and provide recommendation for improvement

• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Able to self-motivate and encourage cohesive work team
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to work within tight deadlines
• Can work independently and possess strong learning agility and an eagerness to pick up new challenges
• Able to use MS Word amp; MS Excel
