Job Description
Based in Singapore, we are looking for a highly talented Assistant Manager, Group Financial Reporting to join our headquarters! If you are looking for a place for hands on experience and making a difference in a fast moving, agile startup environment, this might be the place for you. In this role, you will be responsible for statutory group reporting for all regional subsidiaries under IFRS and timely analysis of the group monthly financials. Additionally, you will also undertake special projects.We will trust you to:- Responsible for managing Zenyum Group from an IFRS reporting and local compliance point of view
- Manage accounting processes related to month-end and year-end close, including consolidation of Pamp;L and Balance Sheet, variance analysis and quarterly management reports for all Zenyum entities. Provide meaningful analysis of the performance.
- Ensure closing of accounts across regional offices are timely, accurate and in compliance with statutory requirements
- Be the key contact point to support the financial audit
- Collaborate with other department heads and country managers in order to understand business objectives and provide accounting advice and recommendations where necessary
- Help define areas of control weaknesses and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close and reporting
- Support the Head of Finance in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes to increase automation and process improvement
We would love to see:- University degree in Accounting, Finance is a must
- CA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is a must
- Around 4 years of relevant working experience preparing consolidation or in Big 4 external audit are desired.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
- Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments would be a bonus.
- Adaptable and collaborative, able to work with diverse groups of people at all levels in multiple countries.
- Willing to work in demanding dynamic environment
- System-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel
