Job Description

Position Summary

To formulate and spearhead regional Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) eStore (dotCom store) strategy and revenue growth within the region. This includes engaging with regional stakeholders and subsidiaries in the countries, tracking and driving eStore sales inclusive of baseline monthly revenue, campaigns, to ensure success. The role also requires close and regular interface with local teams to grow the business.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead regional Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) eStore (Samsung.com store) to grow and drive sales through definition of strategic initiatives

Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders (HQ, Regional Performance Marketing, PR, Corporate Marketing, etc.) and sales subsidiaries across South East Asia and Oceania to secure support, commitment and investment to plans / initiatives

Demonstrate deep understanding of and thought leadership in ecommerce landscape, business management, product & online channel strategy to build strategic plans, including key strategic initiatives & operating plans with clear goals, execution plan and metrics, to drive Samsung.com e-Store differentiation and business growth

Structure and lead complex strategic projects and initiatives, including eStore backend operations & end-to-end process definition & optimization, as well as new value added services identification and supporting them to execution and incubation to drive best in class customer experience

Run regular checks on Samsung eStore merchandising on online platforms to ensure optimal shopper journey and brand compliance, including corresponding recommendations to local sales subsidiaries.

Deliver interim and final reports on partner performance, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs.

Support planning & implementation of regional campaigns for Samsung.com eStore with HQ, Regional and Subsidiary stakeholders.

Job Specification

Skills and Qualifications

Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in eCommerce / sales within the consumer space.

Expertise in both strategy & plan development, as well as execution of key initiatives & programs to drive online business growth

High energy and comfort level towards working in a fast-paced and matrix organization environment (role have to be person-in-charge of a product group as well as some subsidiaries)

Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with subsidiaries and ability to drive consensus, execution across teams, multi-function organization and different level of hierarchy

Good project management skills, to be able to effectively work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure sales target is being met.

Strong analytical skills, to be able to acquire and analyze data to draw actionable insights and apply towards sales achievement

Experience in building & managing online business for direct to consumer eStore (.com) strongly preferred with some knowledge or experience in marketing & Hybris will be an added advantage.
