Job Description

Would you like to develop AWS migration partners and build their businesses? Would you like to be part of a successful migration team focused on helping partners build and grow their businesses on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform? Do you have business savvy and technical background necessary to help further establish Amazon leadership by supporting and developing field enablement programs for migration and modernisation?

As a Migration Partner Development Specialist, you will own the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s platform within the AWS partner ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include identifying and engaging with key consulting and technology partners to help AWS customers migrate at scale and speed; developing and executing enablement, marketing, and promotion strategies to help partners better engage with AWS customers; and enabling AWS product/service teams, business development and sales teams to better engage with our partner ecosystem. You’ll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from AWS partners.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage with partner business teams as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

1. Roles & Responsibilities:

· Serve as a key member of the Migration Growth team in helping to grow successful AWS migrations through partners.
· Work closely with AWS business development team members to develop and execute a strategy, plans and process for partner contribution to overall ASEAN migration revenue.
· Identify key and emerging AWS migration partners to be the focus of go-to-market initiatives.
· Fill the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and existing customers.
· Drive adoption of AWS through proofs of concept, demand generation activities either created by AWS or jointly with the partner, leveraging funding sources including AWS internal funding and other 3rd parties.
· Gather global AWS customer, partner and internal feedback to develop go-to-market strategies that will help partners grow AWS migration services more profitably and efficiently.
· Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management regarding partner revenue influence, customer wins through partners, and overall progress on partner strategy.
· Be the “liaison” between the AWS partner network (APN) and the migration services teams.
· Handle a high volume of requests while remaining flexible and focused in the fast pace of the cloud computing market.

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess 10-15 years of partner development, business development, product marketing, or program/product management experience
· Experience in selling large transformation projects with customers in ASEAN Demonstrated success with managing cross group collaboration and multiple projects in a matrix and high growth organization.
· Breadth of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS platform), technologies and architectural best practices.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is a key.
· Strong written communication skills and fluency are paramount; high degree of comfort presenting to technical and senior leadership audiences. · Demonstrate a strong bias for action and hands on approach
· Technical degree or equivalent experience required
· Travel to partner locations as needed. Estimated 25% travel requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Working experience and knowledge of data center / infrastructure / networking technologies are desired.
· A knowledge or experience in selling/delivering large consulting engagements with a P&L responsibility.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
