Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sales Operations leader to evaluate performance against goals, opportunities for optimization, and attainment vs. forecast, utilizing various CRM tools (particularly QuickSight and Tableau) to derive well-vetted analysis, and develop deeper insight analysis as needed. his person will drive the rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics. Additionally, in this role, you will support the day-to-day execution of the business, work on ad-hoc issues and provide reporting and insights to partner business leaders.
Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a key member of the Partner Strategy and Operations team, ensuring the Partner leadership team has the necessary information to operate and execute efficiently. You will provide reporting and dashboards to enable informed and insightful business influencing decisions. You will analyze initiatives and processes and provide recommendations for improvement. You will build scalable mechanisms to support business and program operation processes. You must be a strong oral and written communicator, enjoy diving deep into the data to find answers, and able to summarize the data into a logical analysis that ensures all stakeholders are informed.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Drive the evolution and enhancement of operations tools and applications, develop key partner reporting systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives.
• Independently lead work streams aimed at automation and enhancement for their immediate and broader business.
• Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, supporting the quantitative analysis of the performance of our partner teams, customers, prospects, partners, markets, and products/services.
• Develop relationships and partner with sales, finance, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues.
• Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support related projects as needed.
• Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Sales Support, Programs Ops or similar role in a corporate environment supporting a global hi-tech or global system integrator organization
• Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies
• Financial, analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)
• Experience with use of data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, QlickView)
• Experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data to both peers and leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
• Effective self-starter who excels in a lean and fast-paced organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for working in a lean, fast-paced organization, and desire to own and refine key operational processes
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing and evolving role
• Understanding of cloud economics and / or experience working with cloud services
• Have directly supported or had ownership of a program or line of business
• Experience developing insights across various areas of customer-related data: financial, product, and marketing
• Proven problem solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to drive a project end to end.
• Advanced analytical skills and detail-oriented
