Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced social and content leader to oversee our content offering. Working as a member of our wider marketing team, the Social Content role is for someone with extensive social expertise and creative strategic thinking, who can see campaigns through from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate is a mix of relationship leader + creative problem solver + social strategist who is immersed in social media trends and culture.
This is a role that balances both form and function. The scope would be centered around implementing world-class social campaigns for Samsung and balancing the work with local insights and data.
We’re looking for a candidate who is a relationship builder, energetic, a proactive team player with a can-do approach to the everyday, as well as thrive on delivering creative solutions to business problems. The Social Content will work in close collaboration with the wider Samsung family, agencies and opinion leaders in Singapore. The candidate must be comfortable working to an agile model and helping the team to implement new processes, framework + best practices so as to bring social and content to another level across the Samsung IM ecosystem.
Role and Responsibilities
Demonstrate an inherent understanding of the role social can play in wider brand and digital ecosystems and provide strategic direction that’s single minded in delivering to key objectives such as Brand love
Work in collaboration with other brand strategists, communication strategists, KOL business managers, creatives and producers to design and deliver truly integrated campaigns
Harness social media to deliver against set campaign targets with the goal of delivering against the overall IM business
Display a passion for social media and creativity through actively seeking out and showcasing the latest in creativity and innovation
Main agency partner on social and content calendar cadence establishment
Key liaison to establish exceptional working relationships and driving collaboration with partner media, digital, social, technology, content agencies and partners
Work with CDM team to ensure effective segmentation of database for targeted and effective social communication
Track conversion rates of initiatives to propose and execute improvement plans
Evaluate customer research and market conditions to refine strategies and plans
Support social and content strategies that will drive online traffic to the company website and customer engagement
Lead and drive both social media and content strategy execution
Support the development and implementation of digital marketing plans including media strategy, budget, KPI and social performance measurement
Track, measure and optimize performance of social media campaigns and constantly calibrate based on data analysis
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Marketing or a related field
Minimum 8 years of proven working experience in social, content and digital marketing
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Passionate about the science and art of digital marketing
Proactive and can-do attitude
Commercial awareness to secure buy-in of internal stakeholder partners and external
