,Reporting to the CEO and COO, the Manager is expected to oversee all HSEQ functions of the onsite Terminal and will work closely with management and peers to ensure that statutory compliance, KPIs, organizational standards, and policies set are met.
Job descriptionThe incumbent is expected to manage a team and holds the following responsibilities:-
Safety, Health amp; Environment
- Inspects terminal to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Regulations
- Monitors amp; interprets legislation and award provision relevant to health amp; safety
- Participates in the pre-safety start-up of plant/activities amp; project-based operations
- Conducts safety audits amp; risk assessments and develops safety action
- Institutes terminal-wide health amp; safety campaigns
- Attend customer site visits and follow-up actions
Quality
- Ensures quality compliance with relevant standards and customer's requirements
- Responsible for all audit performance to meet its objectives and goals
- Leads investigations to resolve customer feedbacks
- Takes charge of KPIs, audits and reports
- Reviews work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Manages continuous work improvements
Requirements
The candidate is expected to satisfy the following criteria:-
- Degree holder with at least 10 years' experience in a manufacturing, logistics and/or related industry
- At least 5 years' experience should be in a managerial capacity supervising quality and safety functions. Good operational know-how is expected
- Possesses ownership, team spirit and hands-on mindset in quality amp; safety functions
- Excellent communicator with experience in working with diverse work teams and culture
- Demonstrates integrity, strives for work excellence and high adaptability are necessary attributes
