Job Description

OneOcean is the largest global supplier of voyage solutions for the maritime industry and provides digital navigation and regulatory compliance solutions for almost 20,000 vessels worldwide. We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation and looking for a new part-time Head of Quality amp; HSE.

The Digital Product and Outfit Administrator will be responsible for two main functions:

Supporting the Sales and Customer Service teams, providing quotations and proposals based on the various products and services we offer.

Supporting the creation, design and on-going maintenance of the individual ships chart index, adding or deleting as necessary.

TASKS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role:

The Digital Product and Outfit Administrator will be required to do the following:

  • Provide support on all digital resources of various suppliers
  • Prepare new building proposals and additional coverage quotations
  • Prepare and check the data for the weekly correction list
  • Enter ships on New Edition services after initial supply has been made
  • Maintain active/sleeping folios and general outfit maintenance
  • Fine tune existing outfits to reduce overspend by customer on Superfluous New Editions
  • General understand of the operation and scope of the OMS, IFS, Passage Manager and UKHO e-Navigator systems
  • Quote for digital products ARCS, ENC, ADP, E-Books etc.
  • Any other tasks associated with the above functions

Requirements

What we need from you?

  • Great oral and written communication skills in English
  • Full knowledge of all digital/paper products and services
  • Complete understanding of all digital resources of various suppliers to provide support
  • Training on various industry related software applications
  • Good overall computer literacy especially with Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience in the industry with respect to O.M.S.
  • Good knowledge of international geography (at least to G.C.S.E level)
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel within a team environment
  • Due to the nature of the SOC role he/she needs to have a good solid knowledge of all areas of the business in order to support the customer service team. This would involve a working knowledge of the following:

o Digital Products ARCS, Total tide, Digital Lights etc.

o ChartCo

o Maintenance of the Tracing service, subscription, pricing and interrogation into OMS system.

o E-commerce, to keep abreast of available Internet services.

o Fully understand the OMS system and its impact on other areas, this must include the global withdrawn replacement routine, chart correction list and letter charts.
