Editor, Digital News (Growth)

Job Description
As an editor in CNA Digital’s Growth team, you will be required to help grow the CNA brand in terms of traffic, reach and sophistication of product.
You will advise journalists and editors on publishing strategy for the CNA website and for social media and chat apps.
Being a versatile storyteller is a must. You will also help enhance our coverage with shareable video, infographics and videographics, as well as interactives.
And you have to think of new ways to engage our audience through special projects.
Your goal is to nurture power users for CNA across the genres of general news, lifestyle and features.
You will also seek to deliver a more personalised, well-rounded experience for readers.
Requirements
- A degree in any discipline
- Strong news instinct and at least 5 years' experience in news writing and/or editing
- Sound knowledge of what works for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in terms of tone and packaging
- Ability to use analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Socialbakers, Chartbeat or Parse.ly and so on for audience engagement
- Knowledge of SEO is a bonus
- Interest in innovation
