MMR Research Worldwide specialize in consumer and sensory research and work with large, international brands within the food, beverage amp; personal/household care sectors. We are currently recruiting for part-time Product Evaluators/Sensory Panellist’s to join our new expert panel based within our Client Site Pamp;G located in Biopolis, Singapore.
AVAILABILITY: Tuesday Thursday, available from 9:30am 4:30pm
HOURS: For your first six months’ as a Sensory Panellist you may only need to work on a Thursday, but there may be the requirement for you to be available on a Tuesday or Wednesday depending on project demands.
PAY: Employees start on $12 per hour, rising to $13 per hour after successful training period (approx. six months).
These roles involve:
- Working individually and within a team to evaluate consumer products, primarily you will be evaluating products such as health care and air refresher, etc. and rating them using sensory descriptive analysis
- You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to the taste, appearance, texture, skin sensation and smell of a product) and then individually rank products on these descriptors
- No experience necessary as full training will be provided
Requirements
Requirements needed for this role:
- Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (this will be tested during a screening session)
- You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions
- You should be comfortable completing routine tasks quickly and accurately
- The ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others
- You must agree not to wear any perfume and use any strong-smelling hand creams as this could affect your work
- You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian) amp; be happy to evaluate alcohol and non-hallal products when required
- You must not have any food intolerances/allergies
