About the Role

This is an opportunity for a Helpdesk Support Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting a Library Management System, as well as providing technical software support to end users.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for on-site technical software support to end users
  • Troubleshooting of Spydus Library Management Software
  • Manage, track and escalate support cases logged online or via phone
  • Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Maintain the SLA of customers

Requirements

About You

You possess at least a diploma in computer science, IT, or other relevant fields and with relevant working experience in a similar role. As this is a fast-paced role, you will be a self-starter and highly motivated individual with strong organisational skills.

You will also have:

  • At least 2 years of IT industry experience and technical support / helpdesk experience
  • Knowledge of MS Operating Systems (Win7, Server 2008/2012, IIS, AD)
  • Experience with database queries in MS SQL/Boolean/XML
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Knowledge in XSL/XML, MS .Net framework
  • Knowledge of the Spydus Library Management System software will be an advantage
  • Understanding or experience in Library operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
