Assistant Manager- General Ledger Audit

We are seeking a new Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager, General Ledger and Audit for our Singapore office.

In Brief:

As our Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager, General Ledger and Audit, you will be managing the General ledger, Balance Sheets accounts reconciliation, as well as audit and taxes compliance.

• You will be in charge of the GL accounting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• You will liaise with the auditors, manage and drive the internal and Statutory Audit to closure, including the Tax Audits and other ac-hot audit assignments.
• You will drive the Group audit, prepare the Consolidation Worksheet.
• You will interact and resolve all the audit queries as and when they may arise though General ledger (including AP/AR review).
• You will oversee the processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee claims.
• You will partner the internal sourcing and procurement team to resolve vendor related issues.
• Manage vendor relationship and communicating to vendor on status of payments.
• You will be in charge of the month end closure, complete Fixed Assets, Currency Revaluation, Prepayments and Accruals, as well as Revenue/Cost Accrual based on Percentage of Completion within the timeline of the closing.
• You will prepare the balance sheet reconciliation schedules for management review.
• You will handle the inter-Company Invoicing and Reconciliation, on a monthly basis.
• You will be liaise with the tax agent, in charge of Annual Corporate Tax filing, GST filing
• Other Ac- hot assignments

What we expect:

• You held Accounting Degree or ACCA with 3-5 years experience in accounting processes and have excellent knowledge in MS Excel reporting.
• Preferably you should have Audit experience and Consolidation exposure.
• You are meticulous, highly energetic and a team player.
• You are effective while working with key global stakeholders and cross functional teams across geographies and time zone.
• You are self-driven and have demonstrated ability to take on new responsibilities with successful execution.
• You have excellent communication skills and have the ability to interact with Corporate Accounting teams, business partners and Statutory Audit teams.
• You have prior experience in working on an ERP, SAP will be an added advantage.
• You have experience in the GL function of a multinational enterprise.
• You have knowledge of local taxes, Withholding Taxes including GST.
