• Translating, Transcreating, Editing, Proofreading mainly video game content from Simplified Chinese to English.

• Proofreading: proofreading of lines for a script to be used during recordings; edit lines as needed according to the client’s proofreading conventions.

• Marking prosody and adding any additional data requested

Requirements

• Native level fluency in Simplified Chinese and English, particularly in reading amp; writing.
• Strong understanding of both cultures.
• A background in languages (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• An interest in and understanding of the video game industry (preferred).
• Able to use CAT tools (MemoQ, in particular.)
• Degree in Translation (or similar).
