Enterprise Architect Strategy Officer

The Enterprise Architect amp; Strategy Officer (EAamp;SO) is responsible to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of Mediacorp and its subsidiaries’ mission and strategic vision, and the businesses, processes, data, and technology that support it. The EAs will be used to support the management of system complexities and interconnections. In addition, they will be used to address security controls at the system, process, and enterprise levels, providing the basis for an analytical approach to assessing and improving the enterprise’s cybersecurity posture.

The EAamp;SO is required to support and engage the rest of Mediacorp organization in improving its business processes with digitialisation and enforce security by design. The EAamp;SO will also need to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies and keep an eye out for any software, services or hardware that might improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• The key responsibility is to work across the organization, determining the needs of a range of business units and processes, and how they can be/are being supported by the network and systems.
• The job holder must keep up with technological changes and meet up with various vendors and solution providers and assess if the latest technologies are suitable for application and superior to existing ones being used.
• It is a role that requires strong communication and analytical skills to ensure that business processes and the systems that support them are secure by design.
• The role requires complex thinking and good understanding of three very different technological systems and how they can be secured.
• Create/Maintain business, application, data, network and security architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals
• Work with Business units, BE, IT and Digital to create or update existing Broadcast, IT and Digital architectures and various business segment architecture for subsequent planning and readiness evaluation
• Work with project teams to develop project solution architectures to facilitate integration and security assessment
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes
• Provide technical guidance to project teams with regard to systems design, performance, cost and security considerations
• Provide technical and process measures to mitigate connectivity risks, and allow for management trade-offs
• Design technical methods to facilitate/automate compliance such as data storage, metadata management, and change control
• Custodian of Threat Risk Assessment, Mitigation Measures, and Risk Acceptance Process

Requirements

• (7) Seven years working experience in cybersecurity, or development of cloud systems/applications
• Strong ability in Problem formulation, Solution Shaping, Problem Solving and Consensus Building
• Able to map out business, data, application and network architectures.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
• Certifications preferred (any)
• AWS Certified Solution Architect
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• The Open Group TOGAF 9 Certification
