To that end, we are looking for a VP Finance, who will structure, lead and grow this function to be the best in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expand internal accounting, spanning many legal entities across multiple jurisdictions, from a reporting only function to a partner for senior leadership that helps make best decisions for the business
- Run a budgeting process that ensures that money is spend where it creates the highest ROI for the company
- Build a treasury function that works across the world
- Be an integral part of the investor relations process (and potentially own it in the future)
- Lead a team of finance professionals across multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in management consulting, Big 4 or large finance functions
- Exceptional ability to think conceptually and understand how small changes can have large second- amp; third-order effects
- Adaptable and collaborative, able to work with diverse groups of people at all levels in multiple countries
- Willing to work in demanding dynamic environment
- Team leadership experience
- System-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments would be a bonus
