Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Regional Talent Business Partner, this role is responsible for providing effective HR services and day to day operational support relating throughout the employee life cycle (talent acquisition; on-boarding; employee relations; off-boarding etc.) to several functional teams in the Singapore office (Supply Chain, Omni-channel amp; Technology, e-Commerce, SK-II) and ad-hoc support to Oceania / Emerging Markets in line with local regulations and company objectives.
Principal Accountabilities/ Scope:
- Work with hiring managers to ensure timely closure of vacancies for blue collar to junior management roles through various channels of recruitment
- Conducts on-boarding and employee orientations on benefits, upcoming employee engagement programs/initiatives
- Enrolment and processing of benefit programs, entitlements required in respective HR systems
- Process new hire information and payroll changes in a timely and accurate manner in accordance to HR processes
- Perform day to day HR operation functions and duties while maintaining current HR files and database
- Provide timely and accurate advice to line managers / employee queries on HR related queries that are in line with the company’s objectives
- Handles all off-boarding and exit procedures for defined scope of employees
- Provide ad-hoc HR administrative support to other markets (Oceania/Emerging Markets)
- Participate in periodic reviews of HR processes through suggestions and thereafter successful execution of improvements
- Support the planning, organising and implementation of employee engagement related activities/events within the company
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma with 4 years’ of relevant working experience in HR
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Working knowledge of employment laws in Singapore
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proactive and independent team player
- Good interpersonal skills
