The role

You will be responsible for creating unique, inspiring and commercial prints which reflect Love, Bonito’s brand image and language. You will support the Head of Design through every aspect of the print design process; from research to design, colourway proposals, technical print file creation, development and final approval till production. This is an exciting and varied role that requires a dynamic individual with initiative - one who thrives in a fast paced and exciting environment but can remain calm under pressure.

You should have / be

• Good eye for detail as well as keen interest in fashion trend styles
• A strong technical understanding in fashion design
• A proactive self-starter who enjoys autonomy and taking action
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working with team members
• Curiosity about how ideas and designs are translated into new collections

Main responsibilities

• Assisting Design team during Monthly Buying session
• Preparing line sheets and facilitate work flow during buying session as needed
• Supporting design team post buying session with required follow-ups
• Assisting with creating mood boards and conducting trend research
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining fabric swatches library and trims.
• Creating technical flat drawing and hand sketches for presentation boards and tech packs.
• Specifying design attributes of garments and documenting the information into internal platform
• Maintaining the archive room on weekly basis
• Preparing garments needed for photoshoot
• Assisting with administrative tasks and tracking shipments of sample on design submission stage
• Performing additional duties and assignments, as requested.

Requirements

• 6-month commitment (Jun-Nov/Dec 2021)
• Diploma/Bachelors in Fashion Design, or relevant work experience
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop amp; Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
• Strong drawing skills - both hand sketching and technical sketching
• Good eye for detail as well as keen interest in fashion trend styles
• Highly organized and able to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
