The Lead System Engineer is responsible to lead the team in implementing change requests to system changes, manage budget and resources meeting client’s requirements and quality standards. He is also required to evaluate internal and external business environment and develop long term strategies and propose integration strategies for the various technology components to achieve a holistic solution.
Primary Purpose
Responsible for planning, designing, installing, testing amp; implementing systems in accordance to specifications amp; service level. Where relevant, perform the necessary system programming amp; configuration.
Responsibilities
1) Plan, design, install, test amp; implement systems in accordance to specifications amp; service level. Where relevant, perform the necessary system programming amp; configuration.
2) Manage systems changes through established change request process amp; provide status reports to the relevant parties.
3) Respond promptly to incident, investigate amp; provide temporary amp;/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
4) Conduct root cause analysis amp; implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures.
5) Monitor amp; measure the performance amp; availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance amp; availability.
6) Monitor the agreed service level (.e.g. service request, system availability),document amp; maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
7) Plan amp; implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures amp; disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
8) Provide systems related technical advice to customers or project team.
9) Ensure the management of ICT systems adhere to established processes/ procedures, ITIL best practices and methodologies where applicable. 10) Manage budget, resources and schedule for system implementation /operation activities
11) Established facility management standards/best practices to ensure operation consistency across project/facility management teams
Requirements
• Educational Qualification: Degree or higher
• Years of IT Experience: 5-10 Years
• Work Experience: 2 years system support
• Must have Skill: Outsystems Platform
• Prefer Skill: Microsoft Server, Virtualization and System Management Tools
• Nationality: Singaporean
• Security Clearance: Cat 2A
