Job Description

We do this through integrative, people-centric venture building a new business creation process that connects the entrepreneur’s intrinsic motivation to a promising field that solves complex long-term issues in society. We invest in entrepreneurs with a ‘build-to-last’ mindset to develop market leaders over the long term.

Reapra is looking for interns to join its exciting venture building practice. The scope of work includes projects that are based on new and non-traditional ways of searching for potential founders to invest in and employees to join our operation. Non-traditional here means outside the regular scope of, and commonly used platforms for, investment sourcing and HR recruitment. Instead, the interns will co-create unusual or unique ways of engaging potential founder and employee candidates using unstructured social engagement, new types of events, and other channels. The work may also include PR and marketing activities to support the sourcing and recruitment activities. In this regard, the work will not critically entail expected HR recruiting methods or investment deal analysis that you would otherwise find in other companies or venture capital funds.

Requirements

  • High enthusiasm for the startup space and entrepreneurship,
  • Openness to alternative forms of startup creation outside of typical venture capital activities
  • Must be willing to experiment, create and execute original ideas for recruitment and sourcing in a lean/capital-efficient manner
  • Must have a high sense of creativity and ownership over projects or tasks
  • Must exhibit a generalist mindset and not be limited by the singular views of HR, investment, or PR and marketing related tasks
  • Good communication and visualization skills
  • Must be able to engage with different types of internal and external stakeholders, senior executives or otherwise
  • Open to those with some coaching, marketing and PR experience as this is not purely an HR role

Candidates must be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months for this position. Both full time and part time candidates will be considered, with a high preference for candidates who are able to commit on a full time basis. There may be opportunities to extend and/or convert with entrepreneurial interest.

This position is primarily remote with occasional to weekly in-person meetings and events at our office, as required by the company.
