About the role

The incumbent will be part of the Information Technology team in providing seamless and efficient service to support the achievement of business objectives.

What you will be doing

• Reports to IT Manager and responsible to lead a small team of IT engineers supporting multiple offices/warehouses within Singapore
• Able to communicate well with internal stakeholders and supporting them
• This role is responsible to support all IT infrastructures that the company requires for business operations. This includes (but is not limited to) networking for the local (LAN), wireless networks, telecommunications (PABX, VOIP system) and internet connections, servers and storage, backups, security systems: anti-malware, firewalls etc.
• Provide technical support and advice to users and internal stakeholders on systems-related issues or queries
• Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered by users
• Work closely with IT vendors for project execution, maintenance and technical service
• Configure and install equipment managed by the IT team. This includes (but is not limited to) WMS system, computer hardware, peripherals, software, mobile devices and desktop phones
• Review opportunities to apply new technologies or other solutions to address challenges faced by the operations and business services
• Provide end-to-end project management for IT management service delivery, infrastructure, security and backup related projects
• Ensure the uptime, performance and security of the servers, network and security equipment
• Ensure procurement of IT equipment and related purchases are timely
• Assist in IT planning, annual budgeting and IT policies/processes updates

Requirements

The successful candidate

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Min 5-7 years of experience in network amp; server services in Windows environment
• CCNA, MCSE and MCSA certification would be an advantage but not necessary
• Prior experience is required in SQL database, Microsoft client amp; server operating systems, networking and security concepts, and proficiency with Office 365 preferred
• Hands-on experience with Symantec Backup Exec and Veeam Backup
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V would be advantage
• Administer network devices e.g. Cisco routers amp; Switches, FortiGate firewall, IPS, etc.
• Familiar with LAN, WAN, Windows Server Active Directory domain services administration, troubleshooting, health check and fine-tuning, Nimble and SAN
• Min 3 years IT project management skills and able to multitask and work independently/team
• Min 3 years in leading and mentoring a small team of IT engineers would be advantage
• Familiarity in Logistics environment would be advantage
