Requirements
The Learning Lab is Singapore’s leading provider of K-12 academic enrichment and tuition services. We have been developing and running quality educational programmes for pre-school, primary, secondary, and junior college students in English, Mathematics, and the Sciences for the past 20 years.
We are looking for a talented and resourceful writer to join our marketing content development team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for marketing communications activities such as content development for various marketing channels (e.g. social media, electronic direct mailers, paid channels, blogs, offline assets), corporate communications/PR activities (e.g. media relations, monitor and respond to industry-related story/trend developments) and other integrated marketing activities.
Job responsibilities
- Develop creative content (mainly writing and video) for various channels and deliverables (key messages, bylines, op-eds, eDMs, newsletters, webpages, PR statements etc.).
- Create (copy edit, proofread) company literature and other forms of marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
- Write powerful and captivating copies for digital and offline advertisements.
- Assist Communications Manager to identify, develop and execute strategic communications plans with measurable objectives; manage and coordinate communications calendar.
- Promote products and services through communications initiatives.
- Work with Digital marketing team to determine objectives and targets for performance-driven campaigns using communications assets.
- Drive the collection of teacher, student and parent testimonials to develop stories that strongly reflect the company culture.
- Drive collection of internal stakeholder testimonials and quotes to add value to employer branding activities, including article generation.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned including but not limited to event management.

- Possesses at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a PR/Communications role.
- Candidates with agency-related experience preferred.
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills, with an eye for detail.
- Good influencing and relationship building skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and with high level of initiative.
- Able to manage multiple projects/ tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Be a strong team player.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Adobe Campaign Manager and Adobe Experience Manager is a strong plus.
