Job Description
Canopy Pte Ltd, a financial technology company, is seeking a VP of Product to bring assist the CPO in strategic vision and insight into continuing the development of solutions for the financial services industry. Reporting to the CPO, the VP of Product will be a part of the executive team and responsible for driving product development and growth. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in shaping the long-term vision and product strategy of the company.
Canopy Pte Ltd is a dynamic and energetic company whose team is comprised of experienced professionals from ex-financial engineers, Data scientists, AI experts, and management consultants. As a part of this group, the VP of Product will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in a rapidly growing industry.
- Serving as a consultant to the CTO when dealing with sensitive information
- Relaying valuable information from meetings to the product team
- Determining operational and product issues and resolving them as soon as possible
- Successfully leading the team from the planning to execution stages of the product
- Keeping executives up to date with the latest developments regarding the product
- Collaborating efficiently with business partners
- Incorporating efficient management techniques to track problems and take appropriate action
- Create the technical vision for the company's products and are responsible for product strategy and initiatives to support the business’s overall goals.
- Champion the needs of both the customer and the business.
- Build a team of Product Owners, Technical Product Owner and Product Analyst
- In charge of organizing a product team to help them carry out specific goals including developing a product roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading product development in a software/technology organization
- Previous experience working in a financial services industry is mandatory
- Experience in SaaS, Financial Services or Start up companies
- Strong track record of building and launching successful products
- Experience with product management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to use data to drive product decisions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
