Your Role at Vertice

Reporting into Julien Fouter our VP Sales for APAC and working closely with the rest of the sales and business development team you will be responsible for securing new business in APAC in general and in Singapore in particular. You’ll have a unique opportunity to shape how we engage the market and shape new business acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently drive business throughout the sales cycle to accelerate growth
  • Own your targets, track your KPIs, and strive to hit your success metrics
  • Engage with leads and prospects in person but also by phone, email, and via LinkedIn where appropriate
  • Be the Ambassador and source of knowledge of our product to the outside world, being able to clearly, concisely, and credibly articulate the product and its USP to consumers or partners
  • Work closely with referral partners (organisations or senior individuals)
  • Identify opportunities and work with Product teams to convey prospects' feedback and improve the product as a whole
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

Requirements

  • At least 5 years as a Sales Executive/Account Executive, selling SaaS products
  • A deal closing mindset
  • Years of experience hitting and exceeding targets
  • Strong relationship and rapport building skills, you’ll be interacting with a large population of merchants and you’ll need to quickly and consistently deliver an outstanding service, gaining trust and drive results.
  • Astute and resilient, you’ll need to roll up your sleeves and do it what it takes to get to the right result
  • You are tech savvy, extremely customer service oriented, professional, resourceful, and have the patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer inquiries and negotiations.
