About the role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the activities of Bollore Logistics Singapore for prestigious luxury fashion brands on Freight Forwarding and Logistics (distribution center, e-commerce, and last mile).
Your main objectives will be to:
- Ensure the satisfaction of the clients
- Maintain the highest quality of service
- Develop the business
- Promote sustainability and innovation
- Bring value to the clients
You are expected to take all initiatives, in liaison with our Logistics and Operations teams, that would bring value to the clients.
What you will be doing
Client relationship
- Be the main point of contact for customer escalation
- Lead client meetings and regular business reviews
- Seek feedback, maintain quality of service, and drive continuous improvement
Operational management
- Follow-up closely accounts’ activity
- Develop internal and client network to drive accounts’ agenda
- Ensure Pamp;L is in line with budget expectation
- Identify and develop business opportunities in both existing and new customers
- Ensure smooth coordination with all parties involved on the account: clients, sales, operations, solutions, innovation, sustainability, finance, other countries, regional office, top management
- Promote operational excellence
- Drive strategic initiatives on sustainability, innovation, and automation
- Provide adequate solutions in both Freight Forwarding and Logistics
Business development
- Drive strategic initiatives on sustainability, innovation, and automation
- Provide adequate solutions in both Freight Forwarding and Logistics
- Identify and develop business opportunities in both existing and new customers
Team management
- Directly manage a team of Sales Supports
- Ensure smooth coordination with all parties involved on the account: clients, sales, operations, solutions, innovation, sustainability, finance, other countries, regional office, top management
Requirements
The successful candidate
- Bachelor’s degree and above
- At least 5 years’ experience in a dynamic MNC environment
- Prior experience in Freight Forwarding and/or Logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, from ground level to top management
- Problem-solving skills with reactivity and adaptability to new challenges
- Customer-centric mindset
- Entrepreneur: strategic mindset, self-driven and goal-oriented
- Prior experience in Key Account Management
- Prior experience in end-to-end supply chain (planning, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce)
- Prior experience in Luxury Fashion or Retail industry
- Exposure to sustainability and/or data agility
