Senior Compliance Manager, Singapore Hong Kong

• Drive the strategy, framework and execution of our Compliance program in Singapore and Hong Kong to ensure applicable regulatory requirements and our company’s risk requirements are being met comprehensively
• Work closely with Regional Compliance Business teams, broader Compliance, , Legal, Product, Operations and other cross-functional teams to understand the overall business environment and be a point of contact for the day to day implementation and execution of Compliance policies related to Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Interface with regulators and other external stakeholders, including partners and clients, in explaining our Compliance and Risk Management program.
• Perform the role of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in Singapore and deputy MLRO for Hong Kong.
• Act as a focal point for employees/ stake holders to escalate suspicions of terrorist financing or money laundering activities.
• Identify, assess, and implement all relevant new legal and regulatory developments within the compliance framework.
• Lead internal and external audits of compliance and regulatory processes and procedures, respond to the results of the audits and assessments, remediate issues identified from the findings, and develop corrective action plans to implement.
• Ensure all regulatory reports are submitted on time.

Requirements

Candidate profile

• Have expert knowledge of regulatory obligations in Singapore, including MLRO, AML/Counter Terrorist Financing/Sanction, as it relates to payments and / or emoney
• Previous Compliance and MLRO duties are essential
• Previous compliance experience in payment industry preferred
• Compliance related accreditations or qualifications preferable (e.g., CAMS, ICA)
• Thorough understanding of the local amp; Intl regulatory environment
• Professional manner with the ability to articulate and influence by identifying accurate compliance requirements to all stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and discretion, handling confidential information.
