The Role
As a QA Engineer at Refract Technologies, you’ll delve straight into the deep end - pushing the limits of the products and systems we create. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to sift out bugs and issues ensuring proper documentation and advancing them to the appropriate teams. You will play a pivotal role in the accountability, growth and development of our latest products.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing of the Full Body Motion Capture Software, encompassing functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to comprehensively cover all aspects of the software, ensuring thorough test coverage.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Verify software compatibility with diverse hardware setups and platforms, including various motion capture devices and environments.
- Evaluate the software's user interface and overall user experience to ensure it is intuitive and user-friendly.
- Measure and analyze the software's performance under diverse scenarios, and offer recommendations for optimization and scalability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, encompassing test plans, test cases, and test reports, while ensuring accuracy and accessibility of the documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers. Communicate test results and progress clearly.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and methodologies, and actively contribute to the improvement of the QA workflow and tools.

Skills and Experience Required
- At least 3-5 years of experience in QA, with a focus on software development.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools for applications written in Java (Android), JavaScript (Electron) and C++.
- Experience in writing automated test cases in a programming language such as Java or Python.
- Proficiency in task management tools like Jira/Confluence and MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with game development or the gaming industry is a plus.
- Experience with PC, console or mobile games is a plus.
- Experience with Unity3D and/or Unreal is a plus.
