As an Omnichannel Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the retail strategy to achieve our trajectory. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of store management, from commercial policy implementation to team development and safety. Your dedication to excellence and strategic thinking will be crucial in ensuring the store's success. Here is a summarized version of your key responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy: Define and implement an omnichannel commercial policy aligned with our trajectory. Commit to and drive store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), devising strategies to achieve them. Economically pilot the store, ensuring accuracy in decision-making regarding autonomy and performance commitments, including Turnover (TO) and Gross Operating Income (GOI). Train and empower your team, especially Duty Managers, in effectively managing TO and labor hours.
Community Engagement:
- Actively engage with the local community to build relationships, encourage visits, and promote sport and physical activity.
- Prioritize customer and teammate safety at all times.
Inventory and Product Presentation:
- Guarantee stock accuracy to ensure daily customer satisfaction.
- Uphold "how to sell" guidelines to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience.
- Implement mass plans and layouts that align with Decathlon's DNA, optimizing store efficiency.
Team Development:
- Coordinate team schedules and working conditions to enhance availability for customers and overall performance.
- Develop sales of both new and second-hand products, as well as services, through effective team management and partnerships.
Training and Development:
- Ensure all new teammates receive an induction day that includes safety training.
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive training plan for all teammates, fostering continuous growth through mid-year and annual individual meetings.
Management and Human Structure:
- Lead and animate the managerial scheme, including Individual Meetings (IM), Mid-Year assessments, Collective discussions, and unit projects.
- Take care of your team's well-being by creating a motivating work environment.
- Learn, respect, and enforce all staff legal rules, including Warning and Dismissal Regulations.
