Job Description

As a Store Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our store. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects, from safety and security to inventory management and sustainability initiatives. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be instrumental in maintaining the store's operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will be :

Safety and Security:

  • Ensure 100% of team members are trained on basic security and adhere to daily safety protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate mandatory documentation in the Store ID book.
  • Conduct two safety diagnoses annually and oversee the implementation of action plans.
  • Validate and ensure training for all duty managers, including first aid and fire warden training.
  • Organize bi-annual store evacuation exercises, evaluate their quality, update procedures, and communicate them to all staff.
  • Conduct one fire audit and electrical audit per year.


Team Collaboration:

  • Organize a minimum of two Health and Safety Committee meetings per year.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create a local shrinkage action plan based on store needs.
  • Support leaders in implementing inventory action plans, ensuring continuous checks.
  • Organize and oversee the annual fiscal inventory.
  • Ensure correct cash and product flow procedures are followed.


Facility Management:

  • Maintain common areas in a tidy, organized, and functional state.
  • Provide support and training to department leaders for efficient removals and security.
  • Manage the IT hardware inventory as per store requirements.
  • Implement an efficient organization to prioritize key products.
  • Forecast and control monthly overheads and surface costs.
  • Ensure compliance by following the annual Preventative Maintenance schedule and maintaining documentation.


Sustainability and Community Engagement:

  • Conduct an annual image survey to plan for future expenses and maintenance.
  • Anticipate necessary investments for improvement.
  • Promote sustainable measures and eco-labeled product usage by contractors.
  • Give preference to providers promoting the integration of minorities.
  • Enforce waste sorting procedures after each delivery.
  • Promote eco-mobility among teammates and customers, offering green facilities like a bike garage.
