Look around you. gt;90% of the things you see have been in a shipping container at some point. Surprisingly, while being a 500+ billion-dollar industry, 80% of the market is still dominated by small and medium-sized freight forwarders. They mostly organize shipments via countless back and forth in emails. AGX helps these forwarders take a step forward and digitalize themselves to compete with emerging digital and global players. We provide them with the digital toolset to keep their backs free so they can focus on their superior operational service offering.
We do this by building a communication and collaboration platform that slashes unnecessary emails and double data entry by connecting relevant data sources and providing a common work interface. Our vision is to standardize information exchange in international logistics like the container did for shipping if successful, this will also boost global GDP.
We are a team uniting decades of experience in SME-, and digital forwarding, tech, and consulting. We are based in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, well-financed by industry experts, and are due to launch our core product in Q1 22.

You ensure our products have a product that just works
As one of the first people in our organization, you will become the owner of various challenges in testing the platform. You will work closely with the product and leadership team to assure that the features built are not only functional but also contextually covered.
- You will design, implement and maintain test automations for our web platforms
- You will ensure scalability by contributing reusable building blocks
- You constantly improve our platform’s test coverage and optimize the test pipelines and CI/CD integration
- You will co-own the product you are working on, and be the person responsible for the quality of implementation, execution, and documentation
- You will think like an owner, always aware of what needs to be improved, thinking in terms of the customers’ interests, and what the next leap for our platforms will be
- You love testing - you are always following bleeding-edge developments and like to build software of the highest quality, set new standards, and delivering best in class solutions
- Together with your team members and the CTO you will own and architect the applications test design - giving and receiving design reviews are your jam
- Special projects: In a startup, there is always something to be done
- Support building the tech team globally in close collaboration with the CTO
Requirements
What you should bring
- You bring at least 5+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation in high stability applications that are data and process driven
- You are hands-on with technologies such as supertest, jest, chai, mocha, webdriver, playwright, cypress, selenium, or similar
- You know how to navigate the jungle of frontend and backend testing, and have created testing frameworks from scratch
- You enjoy thinking in design patterns and applying best principles of software engineering such as pom, bl-pom, facades, factories, builder, etc. to get the maximum scalability out of your framework
- You have a deep understanding of browser capabilities, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, Vue.js 3, and testing frameworks such as webdriver.io, cypress, etc.
- You have a deep understanding of web standards
- You have an understanding of business models with mass transactions and automation potentials
- You think systems are final if they work as intended, and push back when needed
- You like to discuss the features of the product yourself and speak the language of requirements to understand what needs to be tested
- You are very detail-oriented and like to work in an organized and structured way. You are able to prioritize tasks in a self-directed manner
- You are committed to a sense of togetherness and professional exchange, guaranteeing constant further development of your team and communication at eye level
- You are willing to ‘get your hands dirty’ and support in fixing pressing issues while ‘seeing the big picture’
- You are willing to learn and use as well as give coaching feedback to improve
- You have good communication skills and a fluent level of English
