You will act as the intermediaries between other departments within the organisation to ensure the accuracy and monthly accounting closing timeline are observed.
You will be responsible to ensure day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and checking all accounting related entries submitted by stakeholders are accurate in the system.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (MAIN FUNCTIONS)
1. AR Retail Sales, Collection amp; Reconciliation
- POS Sales Posting to System
- Credit Cards and eWallets Collections amp; Reconciliation
- Cash Collection amp; Reconciliation
- Liaise with Local amp; Foreign Currency Cash Collection Agents
2. AR Non-Retail / Non-Trade, Collection amp; Reconciliation
- Billing amp; Rebilling of Non-Retail Income, Rebates, Compensation etc.
- Create Slip for Billing amp; Rebilling in System
- Follow up on AR collections with Vendors
3. Bank Statement Reconciliation amp; Reporting
- Updating of Bank Transactions amp; Statements in SAP
- Bank amp; Cash Reconciliation
- Submission amp; Monthly Reporting to HQ
4. Back-End Collection Creation amp; Refund Processing
- Creation of Payment Link
- Refund Processing amp; follow-up with Bank / Payment Platforms
5. Schedules
- AR Aging
- Preparing Invoice Summary
- Update Billing, Reconciliation, Collections/Contra and Outstanding Status
- Analysis of Billing amp; Latest Collections Status by Category for Management
6. CAG Submission
- Monthly Sales Statement reporting
- Vouchers verification and On-line submission
7. Others
- GL Journal Entries
- Audit Schedule preparation
- FOREX updates
- Ad Hoc Tasks/Projects assigned
Requirements
1. Degree in Accounting / ACCA
2. More than 3 years’ experience in related AR / AP / GL Accounting functions
3. Meticulous and analytical
4. Business acumen amp; Finance savvy
5. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
6. Advance level competency in MS Excel
