Senior Media Specialist/Media Manager (Singapore)

As a Senior Media Specialist/Media Manager for our technology client, you will be responsible for collaborating with APAC-based and regional media agencies and internal stakeholders to manage ongoing cross-media initiatives and campaigns across multiple regions, assisting in implementing the regional rollout of global media planning tools.

The person will be the day-to-day consultant on media strategy for the programs mentioned above, including but not limited to channel, audience and ad format strategy, best practices and optimisation to attain program efficiency goals.

Role:

  • Drive media strategy for marketing initiatives across multiple global markets, with a focus on performance media.
  • Be the primary POC on media for these programs amp; work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing team and media partners) to ideate, design, and launch media tests and optimisation strategies
  • Manage past campaign data sets and test learnings around channels, targeting/audience, and creative performance to gather insights to optimise the program
  • Identify new growth opportunities in performance media via new channels or beta-test new targeting capabilities or ad formats.
  • Manage agency workflow as it pertains to media, such as reporting, benchmarks and media forecasting.
  • Own stakeholder narratives for internal, regional, and global leadership on media plan strategy, reporting, roadmaps and learnings.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Min 4 years of experience in digital media marketing
  • Good working knowledge of key performance media channels/formats across Google, Microsoft, key social platforms, etc
  • Experience with media planning and identifying testing and optimisation opportunities
  • Strong communication skills to manage communication cross-functionally with marketing teams and media agencies.
  • Data-driven. Reads and understands the data to make metrics-driven decisions.
  • Stays current on evolving media trends, technology, and competitive landscape to bring opportunities to life.
  • Experience managing media in other markets like Japan and Korea is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
