Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Support and Services Leader to join our team. As the leader of our IT support and services function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our retail and back office teams. If you are a proactive and strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing IT teams and projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management and Coaching:
    • Lead and coach the IT support team to deliver high-quality service, optimizing operational performance and ensuring maximum uptime for retail and back office teams.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the Point of Sale project, including maintenance, enhancements, and service uptime.
    • Manage RFID systems, ensuring their maintenance, enhancements, and service uptime.
    • Take charge of retail store opening projects, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Organize support, troubleshooting, and repair activities for IT equipment and networks.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with external IT vendors and oversee procurement activities.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Over 3 years of experience in managing IT support and services teams.
  • Over 3 years of experience in managing network infrastructure.
  • Previous experience with Point of Sale projects.
  • Experience in managing service ticket resolution systems and adherence to SLAs.
  • Familiarity with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Processes.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS; experience with Linux is a plus.
  • Proven project management experience with successful planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a self-starter.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field.
  • Extensive experience with computers and networks.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail, even when working under pressure.
