Job Description

Although this listing shows the Singapore as its primary location, we are interested in seeing applicants coming from all parts of the APAC region and those happy to work UTC+8 timezone.

The Account Strategy consultant will be covering parental leave for the APAC region for a period of 9-months. The person coming in to support this region is responsible for the health and growth of a regional portfolio of clients, mainly 2 enterprise organisations and some of our other Cloud only clients in the region too.

As the temporary custodian of the region, this role will see you maintain and build upon the existing any new relationships we might form with customers in the region. The key responsibility is to maximise the value of these relationships for Human Made. Your goal is to carry forward our already existing Account Growth Strategy to provide continuity for our customers ensuring their Human Made and Altis experience remains up to standards.

You will employ your skill-set to develop strategic opportunities, whilst embedding yourself into the clients world so that you can best understand their goals, keeping them in a position where they’re able to effectively act upon their business, cms and platform goals.

Working collaboratively with the client and our APAC squad, you will be supported by the wider Account Strategy System. This system and the training that comes with it will give you all of the tools you require to do the job effectively. We also expect that your experience will lend itself to helping us drive the team and the department forward too.

As the Account Strategy Consultant you will have experience working with WordPress and or other Enterprise clients or CMS’. We’re looking for someone who can effectively carry out and perform the following responsibilities that form the foundations to this role.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a healthy and growing portfolio of existing clients in the region.

  • Retain number and value of existing client engagements.
  • Achieve new account growth and close opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Build upon our existing Account Growth Strategy to identify emerging requirements.
  • Nurture our relationship with the client to ensure ongoing growth in value for supplier and client, the continued alignment of our respective expectations, and address early any potential issues, with a managed regular cadence of business reviews.
  • Be the point of escalation for account-related issues
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of key customer data in prescribed systems (specifically current and proposed project revenue, delivery team allocation requirements (in collaboration with delivery leads), and contract and service tier data).
  • Manage the risk associated with the development and platform clients in your region, and ensure the clients’ expectations match ours.
  • Creation and maintenance of Account Growth Strategies for all customers in the portfolio, with actionable plans for the increased value of the engagement.
  • Maintain a sufficient understanding of the services and delivery projects with your clients to ensure the ongoing commercial health of the relationships.

Ensure successful transition of projects into delivery from sales

  • Actively participate in the generation and maintenance of coherent, outcome focussed regional sales strategies.
  • Join in the production of pitch decks or documents built by Sales for project sustainability
  • Ensure delivery teams have adequate resources and information to deliver the project.

Actively contribute to improving systems and processes in the commercial team, across the region, and the wider company.

Requirements

  • 4 years of leading relationships with enterprise clients in a project or account management capacity
  • Background or acquired understanding of technology professional services and/ or SaaS product sector.
  • Experience and/or knowledge working with: an agile framework and/or with agile management principles; a distributed team geographically distributed and communicating across a variety of synchronous and asynchronous channels; and a professional services agency context, delivering to clients under a range of contractual arrangements.
  • Familiarity with the drafting and negotiation of contracts for the delivery of Saas products and/or software development services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • You will demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and be comfortable making decisions based upon partial information, leaning upon good intuition and judgement, and be able to bring a team along with you.
