About the role:

As a member of the product team, you will be instrumental in keeping the ball rolling for your team. The ideal candidate has acute analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of free-to-play games.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to navigate a full free-to-play business model, and for discussing, advocating for, and helping determine which strategic elements are needed for the titles to be an ongoing success.

As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with software engineers, artists and cross-functional teams to build, launch, and analyse our products.

What You Can Expect To Work On
  • Defining product requirements and goals: Product managers work closely with stakeholders to define the requirements and goals for the video game. This includes identifying the target audience, determining the features and functionality of the game, and setting project timelines.
  • Managing the product roadmap: Product managers are responsible for creating and managing the product roadmap. This includes prioritising features and functionality, setting release dates, and ensuring that the development team is on track to meet project deadlines.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis: Product managers need to have a thorough understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development. They conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and ensure that their product is competitive in the market.
  • Identifying and analysing target users: Product managers work closely with the development team to identify and analyse the target users for the video game. This includes understanding their needs, behaviours, and preferences, and designing the game to meet their expectations.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely delivery: Product managers work closely with the development team to ensure that the mobile game is delivered on time and within budget. They collaborate with developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure that the game meets the requirements and goals set forth in the product roadmap.
  • Monitoring user feedback and making necessary adjustments to improve user experience: Product managers monitor user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to improve the user experience. This includes fixing bugs, adding new features, and optimising the game for different devices.

Requirements

  • Experience. At least 5 years of experience working in a product facing environment with a special focus on video games or mobile games.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills: Product managers need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and other team members. They should be able to lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills: Product managers should be able to analyse data and make informed decisions. They should be able to identify problems and find creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Thorough understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development: Product managers should have a deep understanding of the gaming industry and mobile game development. They should be familiar with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
