Accountant
Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting/recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Record and maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or ACCA qualification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
