We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lead Data Analyst - Finance to join our dynamic team at Funding Societies. As a lead data analyst, you will be part of a fun team which will be working to support all business functions with finance focus in Funding Societies. In short, the function of a data analyst is to understand the needs of the business and use data to derive a solution that you will then present, implement, and track and add value to the company and its performance. In addition to having a knack for problem-solving, it is crucial that you are willing to learn, understand, and hear the needs of our people. We solve challenging problems. Requirements
What will you do:
- Lead, mentor amp; enable team members to drive a high performance team
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of Finance data analysts work for key projects such as finance audit, finance closing, regulatory amp; BAU reporting
- Pioneer and develop financial analysis capabilities within the data team, and perform some hands on analyses yourself to drive insights from multiple data sources
- Collaborate with regional Finance and various business teams, plan roadmap amp; quarterly OKR, drive projects and propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Establish best practices in coding amp; analytics solutions
- Contribute to driving overall team process improvements through new frameworks, processes, and execution excellence
What we are looking for:
Must-haves
- Qualifications Bachelor in finance and/or quantitative related disciplines or equivalent. 3-7 years of experience
- Good stakeholder management ability
- Ability to be hands on and mentor team members problem solve
- Prioritization skills
- Experience leading and managing team performance for at least 1 year
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical mind, with can-do attitude
- Independent learner who enjoys solving challenges (Google is your best friend)
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with cross-departmental and cross-team projects experience, independently promoting project execution
- SQL, Python, visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlik experience required
- English is required
Good to have:
- Experience working in FinTech or financial industries highly preferred
- Experience in working on performance management, cost allocation, financial statement analysis, building financial model with basic accounting understanding is preferred
- Experience with agile methodology
- Understanding of ELT workflow
