Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a world class partner and channel sales leader to build out our partner network in support of the SAP on AWS ASEAN growth imperative. As Head of Partnerships SAP Business, ASEAN, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to accelerate adoption of AWS cloud computing services through targeted partners and their SAP customers.

You are responsible for developing, managing and driving partner sales with Consulting and Technology partners applying partner obsessed motions that include; acting as partners’ trusted advisor, driving sustainable platform adoption resulting in new customer wins, establishing AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud provider, increasing internal organizational capability in collaboration with cross functional teams to execute on strategic partner business plans, demand generation to drive partner sales revenue and partner advocacy.

The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to manage joint GTM efforts and to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales executives. This individual should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, as well as build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires technical acumen and familiarity with cloud services.

AWS partners develop and deploy SAP solutions for customers. AWS customers are developing some of the most exciting and innovative new businesses, and partners are using cloud technologies from AWS such as AI and Machine Learning, IoT, compute and storage to dramatically accelerate innovation.

The role is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
· Leading cross functional teams [Partner Development Managers, Partner Marketing Managers, AWS and Specialty Sales teams] to create and execute on strategic partner business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development and driving new customer wins via demand generation in a programmatic non-linear fashion; to deliver against partner goals.
· Think big to influence customers' and partners' strategic decision-making and provide solutions to complex business issues with broad impact.
· Evangelizing a partner’s value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers by advising customers and sales teams on the value of partners, how to best engage partners, and recommending the most relevant partners for specific customer opportunities.
· Driving solutions, AWS Partner Network (APN) Program attainment, continuous enablement through training and certifications and go-to-market strategies for differentiation and expansion of their footprint.
· Managing complex multi-dimensional deal execution with partners, utilizing APN programs (partner funding programs), partner opportunity attach tracking and cross functional team (Partner Solution Architects, Partner Development Managers, Specialty PDMs, Professional Services, and AWS Sales) alignment to ensure partners are delivering technically validated and quality customer solutions.
· Serve as the partner subject matter expert, developing and growing field relationships between partners, customers and the AWS team, establishing AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud provider.
· Expected travel of up to 50% within market and 2-3 times per year to destinations outside the market. [under normal conditions]

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong SAP functional, business development, infrastructure and cloud experience
· 10+ years relevant work experience in technology enabled consultative selling or business development roles focused on transformation in large enterprise
· Demonstrated ability to be a market maker across industry, partner and technology domain.
· Results focused; consistently exceeds key performance metrics.
· Experience working with large and complex enterprise customers and consulting partners
· Demonstrated deep business and financial acumen skills in business case construction and deal negotiations
· Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA or commercially focused degree preferred
· Hands on experience with AWS
· Demonstrate a strong bias for action and hands on approach
· Strong verbal and written EN communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
